My Story
Cottage on Dickson began as a little 1949 weatherboard home that I renovated in 2022. I could easily have sold it once the work was finished, but I had grown so attached to it that I decided to keep it and create a place where others could come and stay.

My background has always been in homes, design and people. I’ve worked in real estate for many years, owned a fashion boutique, studied art and have always loved interiors and creating beautiful spaces. Hosting the Cottage brings all of those things together for me.
I wanted it to feel warm and welcoming rather than simply somewhere to sleep — somewhere guests could arrive, settle in and immediately feel comfortable. That’s why the little details matter to me, from the linen and toiletries to the provisions waiting in the kitchen and the way each room feels when you walk into it.

Over time, one of the loveliest parts of hosting has been seeing guests return, hearing their stories and knowing that the Cottage has become part of weekends away, family visits, weddings and special occasions.
Cottage on Dickson really has been made with heart, and I hope that’s something you feel from the moment you arrive.
